Understanding the Scoring

In Speed Run mode:

• Each correct region gives you points based on accuracy
• More guesses = more total points (even if individual scores are lower)
• The clock never stops — it keeps ticking between rounds
• A decent guess is always better than no guess

The Math

If you take 20 seconds per guess and score ~2,000 points each: 6 guesses × 2,000 = 12,000 points

If you take 10 seconds per guess and score ~1,500 points each: 12 guesses × 1,500 = 18,000 points

Speed wins. Fast approximate guesses beat slow perfect ones.

Map Navigation Speed Tips

Pre-Set Your Default View

Before starting, mentally divide the world map into zones. Know approximately where to click for:

Don't Over-Zoom
